My name is Josh Brandwene and for over 25 years now I have the honor of coaching amazing athletes at the collegiate and high school level. With a servant leader mindset, I take great pride and satisfaction in mentoring young adults, and helping them become high-performing, grounded and generous individuals (first) and athletes (second).
I am passionate about hockey, endurance sports, leadership, and the emerging field of applied positive psychology. I am blessed with a wonderful family – my wife and best friend for over 25 years, Leona. A hard-working, polite, well-rounded and incredibly competitive daughter, Sophie; who has found her own true passion in the sport of triathlon. And two indoor rescue cats who bring great joy (and a lot of fur) to our lives.
I am very grateful for an excellent education, lifelong learning, professional experiences, and a community of friends and colleagues that are an inspiration to me. I consider myself very lucky. I hope you take some time to read my blog which will cover topics from positive psychology, leadership, hockey, endurance sports, and maybe even a cat update or two!
